Dynamic balancing in several planes - benefit from the more than 40 years of experience of specialists

Before starting our maintenance work, rolls will be checked for balancing aspects so that defects such as concentricity errors, unbalance, semi-critical speed, journal run-out, cracks etc. can be diagnosed at an early stage. A dimensional check of the journals and a wall thickness measurement of the tube are part of the inspection scope.

In this way, an economical maintenance is checked before further work is carried out in order to avoid unnecessary costs in advance. Rolls with drilled and welded balancing weights on the roll tube are inspected with particular attention.

Drilling and welding the balancing weights to the roll tubes to eliminate the unbalance is no longer the technical standard. The fixing holes and the weld seams lead to predetermined breaking points and crack formation on the roll tube, which result in roller breakage. We manufacture new rolls with a special balancing process in the 3rd plane, using a special balancing element inside the roll tube.
